The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) is excited to have guests on campus for the Annual Missions Conference scheduled for Monday, October 17, through Wednesday, October 19. The theme for this year’s conference is "Changing the World Through the Unchanging Word.®" Guests will join the BCF faculty, students, and staff, as well as the dynamic speakers and mission representatives from around the world during the inspirational three day event. The goal of the Annual Missions Conference is to challenge and inspire individuals to pursue Christ and follow the mandate to go and “Change the World…”
Missions Conference Coordinator and Chair of the Theology Division Rich Elligson in coordination with BCF President Thomas A. Kinchen have invited passionate speakers to share their heart for missions with BCF students and other conference guests. Keynote speakers will include Dr. Tommy Green, Executive Director-Treasurer of the Florida Baptist Convention, BCF President Thomas A. Kinchen, and Dr. Clayton Cloer, President-Elect of The Baptist College of Florida.
The conference will begin each day at 9:30 a.m. in the R. G. Lee Chapel with a special time of Praise and Worship followed by the keynote speaker and opportunity to visit the different mission organizations and their displays in the BCF Wellness Center. Each organization will provide information about their mission and ministry, and recruit individuals for upcoming mission trips. Representatives from the Florida Baptist Convention and missionaries serving in multiple areas will be available to answer questions that attendees may have throughout the conference. Many of the mission projects and overseas ministries that BCF students have participated in have been as a direct result of attending the Annual Missions Conference.
