BCF SPOTLIGHTS ALUMNI

The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) is committed to providing a quality education preparing men and women for areas of ministry and service on the mission field, in the classrooms, within the marketplace, and so many other venues. One unique vocational arena is within the legal field where BCF Alumnus Roselyn Zaiter Hudson has successfully maneuvered. Graduating SUMMA CUM LAUDE in 2017 with a BCF degree in business leadership, Hudson went on to graduate from the Thomas Goode School of Law at Faulkner University. “A high-quality education in business taught through a biblical lens was invaluable as [she] went through law school and now as [she] navigates the beginnings of a legal career,” stated Hudson.

During her time at Faulkner, Hudson interned and worked at multiple legal offices including the Alabama Governor’s Legal Office, Beasley-Allen Law Firm, Houston Country Probate Office, and Faulkner Elder Law Clinic. Hudson passed the Alabama Bar in July 2020 on her first attempt and started to work in the legal field.

Hudson met her husband, 2017 BCF Honor Graduate in Ministry Studies Colt Hudson, while a student at BCF and he serves as the Senior Pastor at Bellevue Baptist Church in Gadsden, Alabama. After graduating from BCF, Colt earned his Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is completing his Doctor of Philosophy at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. The Hudson family welcomed their first child in June 2021 and are serving the Lord faithfully in their church and within the community.

“The Baptist College of Florida… holds a very dear place in my heart and the education that I received contributed greatly in shaping who I am as an attorney, personally and professionally,” stated Roselyn.
