BCF Music Major Cameron Diamond will be performing during the guitar recital.

On Thursday, April 16, at 7:00 p.m. (CST) students in the guitar studio at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville will present their spring recital in the R.G. Lee Chapel. This highly anticipated presentation will not only feature members of the guitar ensemble but also include solo and duet performances. Under the leadership of BCF Assistant Professor Jay Erp, students have anxiously been preparing and polishing their skills for the evening recital.

According to Erp, the musical selections will feature a wide range of folk tunes from North America, South America and China, plus stringed arrangements from the more modern English creative movements derived from the late Renaissance to the early Baroque period. Soloist Eric Worthington will be performing a Spanish classical piece, Austyn Hougland will perform his own arrangement of “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus,” and a special jazz duet will feature Dustin Meadows and Hanson LeBoeuf. Admission to the recital is free and the public is welcome to attend.
