Preparations are almost complete for another heart-warming beginning to the holiday season as The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville opens the campus for the annual Holiday Heritage Festival. This year’s festival is scheduled for Friday, November 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. located in Heritage Village just off of Sanders Avenue.

A multitude of activities are planned for the afternoon including a variety of musical performances and craft demonstrations. Faculty and students from the BCF Music and Worship Division will provide Christmas carolers and instrumental groups throughout the day, while visitors observe artisans in action to include soap carving, ornament making, jewelry designing, candle making, glassworks, pottery, basket weaving, blacksmithing, cane grinding and syrup making.

Children of all ages will enjoy the carriage rides and view the popular quilt exhibits. Visitors will have an opportunity to purchase items from some of the craft vendors as well as purchase homemade chili, ham biscuits, hot dogs and chicken purlieu, with all of the proceeds collected from the food items going into the BCF scholarship fund.

Guests, young and those more seasoned, will enjoy this fun and festive event as the Christmas season is ushered in during the Holiday Heritage Festival. For more information, contact Jan Martin at 850-263-3261 ext. 416.
