BCF College Singers on tour in St. Augustine, Florida.

On October 21-26, the College Singers at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville toured the St. Augustine area on their musical mini-tour leading worship and delighting audiences along the way. As one of the premier touring ensembles at BCF, the College Singers feature both male and female students led by Assistant Professor of Voice William Knowles.

The College Singers departed Graceville on October 21 and began a performance tour to include several church services and associational meetings in the St. Augustine area. The Singers led worship at First Baptist Church Archer, the St. Johns River Associational Meeting, College Park Baptist Church, and Anastasia Baptist Church. The ensemble was featured in both traditional worship settings and contemporary services all the while “keeping God the center of our purpose,” stated Knowles.

In addition to sharing with several churches and associations through their eclectic musical style and talent, the students were also able to enjoy the ancient beauty of the area as they explored the local sites gaining a deep appreciation for the historical value found in St. Augustine. The Singers were given the opportunity to visit Castillo De San Marcos Fort and stroll down the streets of ancient downtown St. Augustine, making the tour extremely educational for the BCF students.
