The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville will be hosting its annual Missions Conference October 22-24. The conference will begin on Monday with worship at 10 a.m. in the R. G. Lee Chapel and will conclude on Wednesday. Special chapel speaker for the Missions Conference will be author and missionary Wade Akins

Wade Akins received his B.A. in Sociology from Louisiana College, Th.M. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and D.Min. in Missions from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to being an extraordinarily gifted author, evangelist, and pastor, Akins served with the International Mission Board (IMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention in Vietnam and Brazil for 26 years. He has served as a Global Church Planting Trainer, teaching in 65 different nations, and currently works with Pioneer Missions based in Jackson, Tennessee, which provides Pioneer Evangelism Training world-wide. Akins is an Adjunct Missions Professor at Union University and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary where he is committed to training the next generation about missions.

In addition to the special time of worship and missions emphasis during chapel, there will be an exhibit area located in the student center where representatives from mission agencies will be available to provide information about their programs, share their vision of missions, and recruit for upcoming mission projects.
