Retired BCF Professor Judson Vaughn leads the early Morning Prayer ministry Monday thru Friday at The Baptist College of Florida in Graceville

Students filled the pews in the little Prayer Chapel on The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville campus Jan. 26, as retired BCF Professor Judson Vaughn began a new early Morning Prayer ministry. Scheduled to meet Monday thru Friday at 7:00 a.m. before regular classes begin, Vaughn asked those gathered the first day to simply write down any prayer concerns that they may have on a 5 x 7 index card that he provided as they entered the chapel.

Known by students and faculty as a powerful prayer warrior and man of God, Vaughn led students in praying for each other and praying for the needs they had listed on the index cards. Some of the students came to pray for lost family members and friends who were experiencing health issues or everyday life difficulties. Some of the students asked Vaughn to pray specifically for them as they prepare for upcoming mission trips and ministry opportunities. Some students came to pray for their classes expressing their desire to do well in school. All the students came with open hearts and a passion for joining others in prayer.
