Students, faculty and staff at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) are excited to welcome Evangelist Rick Coram and Georgia's Christian Index Editor Gerald Harris to the R.G. Lee Chapel March 8 through March 10.

Coram, a dedicated career evangelist for over 20 years, hosts an average of 45 exhilarating revival meetings each year. Under the umbrella of Rick Coram Ministries Inc., he offers two compelling summer conferences, PowerLife Student Camp with over 1,200 attendees each year and PowerLife Adult Bible Conference averaging 450 participants annually.

Coram and his wife, Judith, have three children and one grandchild. He will be the guest speaker on Monday, March 8 at 10 a.m.

Christian Index Editor Gerald Harris will fill the pulpit Tuesday, March 9 and Wednesday, March 10. Harris has a rich history with the Georgia Baptist Convention having served as the 1999 President; a member of the Executive Committee, Administrative Committee and the Budget Planning Committee; and as Chairman of the Nominating Committee. Harris has also filled various leadership positions within the Southern Baptist Convention.

Harris took the reigns at The Christian Index, the state paper for the Georgia Baptist Convention and the oldest continuously published Christian newspaper in the nation, in June of 2003. "Dr. Harris has broad acceptance and respect among Georgia Baptists," stated Georgia Baptist Convention Executive Director J. Robert White. "He has an outstanding reputation in ministry, a great love for people, a profound commitment to the communication of the Gospel, a love for missions, an outstanding family, and along with all of these positive characteristics, he is an extremely effective communicator in both the spoken and written word."
