WOMEN'S ENSEMBLE TO PERFORM AT ACDA

The Women's Ensemble at The Baptist College of Florida.
The Baptist College of Florida's (BCF) Women's Ensemble has been invited to perform at the Florida state American Choral Director's Association (ACDA) Fall Conference on November 8, beginning at 9:00 am, and then at Calvary Baptist Church in Winter Haven, FL, for both Sunday morning services on November 9.
According to BCF Women"s Ensemble Director Buford Cox, "It is quite an honor to be chosen to sing at a [ACDA] conference." ACDA is the professional organization for choral conductors. Membership consists of conductors in elementary/secondary schools, colleges and universities, and churches of various denominations. Conference performing groups are selected based on a recorded audition. The ensemble will be presenting a collection of musical compositions covering several styles including classical and contemporary choral works for women, spirituals, and hymn arrangements.
The Women's Ensemble consists of music students and other talented BCF female vocalists studying in areas of leadership, Christian studies, counseling, education, missions and ministry. Female students at the college are given the opportunity to audition to participate in the prestigious ensemble each year.
