As students, professors, and administrators gear up for another semester at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville, preparations are also being made for another exciting year at WFBU, the College's FM Radio Station. Established in 2003, WFBU will begin its fifth year of operation, and the current station crew is planning a schedule that will provide a variety of listening options for all age groups.

Returning to the program lineup will be the number one (and only) morning show in Graceville: The WFBU Morning Wake-Up Call, which is broadcast weekdays from 7 to 8 am central time. Hosted by WFBU veterans Matthew LeHew and Justin Devereaux, the show will provide humorous and lively discussions, accompanied by uplifting music to prepare listeners for the day ahead. "We're going to be giving more structure to the morning show by adding some new segments and bringing back some old ones," stated LeHew, Radio Station Manager. Among the segments returning are the weekly ParaDocs, Dr. John Thomas and Dr. Rich Elligson, and Coffee With Coach, a "game day" discussion with Head Coach Wertenberger of the Graceville High School Tigers.

In addition to the "game day" discussions with the coach, WFBU will continue to broadcast the Friday night home games for the Graceville Tigers. Returning to the microphone will be BCF graduate Bob Bloomer as he provides a play by play description of what's happening on the football field.

Listeners can look forward to the critically acclaimed afternoon show Campus Live, featuring Matthew LeHew, Joshua Rackley, and Krista Brown, every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 7 pm central time. Broadcast live from Studio B in the King's Cup Coffee Shop, Campus Live is known for its off-the-wall style of broadcasting, often bringing on random guests who happen to be in the coffee shop.

During the day, WFBU provides an array of diverse syndicated programming including Turning Point with David Jeremiah, Insight for Living with Chuck Swindoll, Let My People Think with Ravi Zacharias, and the popular SRN News. In addition to the 9 am Southern Gospel Hour, with local talent and award winning gospel groups, WFBU will be adding InContext with Michael Easley and Adventures in Odyssey.

One of the most exciting changes to the WFBU lineup is the addition of the Live Chapel Services. While WFBU has posted chapel recordings since January, this semester marks the first time that the services in the R.G. Lee Chapel will be broadcast live worldwide. "This is a very exciting time for WFBU," stated LeHew. "Listeners should keep an eye on wfbu.com for further updates as the station evolves."

Audiences are able to listen to WFBU 94.7 from anywhere in the world via the web feed at wfbu.com, but also downloads are available through podcasting, mp3, and iTunes.
