Last semester, Rebekah Meahl discussed graduate school options with representatives from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in San Francisco, CA.

On Friday, September 19, The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville will be hosting representatives from Baptist seminaries and educational institutions beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the Frank Farris Student Center. Representatives will be available to answer questions on their specific degree programs from schools such as Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC; Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN; and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA.

Last semester, six different seminaries visited the campus, recruited students, and set up exhibits informing BCF juniors and seniors about their graduate degree programs. In this joint format, students have the opportunity to compare each seminary and contrast the similarities and differences of each school. "We wanted to assist our students in selecting a place to continue their education beyond BCF. Because of the expenses involved in traveling to multiple schools, we thought it would be a benefit to have the various seminaries come here so that our students can make an intelligent decision in narrowing down the list of schools that they will visit, based upon the programs the seminaries have to offer," stated Roger Richards, Director of Student Services.

The event is open to the public. For more information on the schools that will be participating, please contact 800.328.2660 ext. 477.
