People gathered early for this year's Holiday Homecoming at The Baptist College of Florida in Graceville.

Over 500 people gathered Friday evening in the delightfully decorated Heritage Village at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville for the annual Holiday Homecoming festivities. The yearly event typically kicks off the area-wide Christmas season with horse drawn carriage rides, cane grinding, syrup making, old fashioned carolers singing, quilt making displays, and hot ham biscuits.

Coordinated by BCF First Lady, Ruth Ann Kinchen, handmade crafts were available for purchase and donations were accepted for food served by the faculty wives. Each year, all of the money collected through the sale of the crafts and food goes directly into the student wives' scholarship fund.

People of all ages enjoyed circling around the fire barrels to get warm and fellowship with friends and former students. Hot chocolate and apple cider was available outside the restored church buildings decorated for Christmas. The white fence entrance to the courtyard was clad in green garland, white lights and red ribbons provided by Kinchen adding just the right touch to the evening celebration.
