THREE BCF EDUCATION GRADUATES RECOGNIZED

Dr. Robin Jumper, Dean of Faculty, welcomes visiting Superintendents, Principals, and School Administrators to BCF's Education Division Intern Reception held at The Baptist College of Florida.
Three Education graduates of The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville were recently recognized as demonstrating the highest quality, efficiency, and heart of education at the 2007-2008 Jackson County "Teacher of the Year and Rookie Teacher of the Year" recognitions. Three BCF graduates received outstanding acknowledgments: Shae Williams of Marianna High School and Hannah Dixon Strickland of Graceville Elementary School for "Rookie Teacher of Year" and Ricky Braswell of Malone High School for "Teacher of the Year."
The "Teacher and Rookie Teacher of the Year" honors are presented to individuals who exemplify qualities and attributes of an effective teacher and exceed their job requirements. Braswell, Williams, and Strickland participated in the Jackson County competition.
According to professors in BCF's Education Department, their graduates are outstanding students and demonstrate the "heart" of the teaching profession. Having three students recognized this year by their peers and selected as "Teacher and Rookie Teacher of the Year" was not a surprise.
