BCM DESSERT THEATRE PROVIDES DIVERSION

On October 14, students at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville were greeted by candlelight as they entered the Assembly Center which had been transformed into a dessert theatre. There were eleven homemade desserts to choose from, served by members of the BCF faculty and staff, as well as a big movie screen set up for the students to enjoy.
In an effort to provide a break from mid-term exams, Brianne Eure, Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM) Director and coordinator of the dessert theatre, encouraged students to come dressed up in their fancy clothes or formal attire and unwind from an intense week of studying.
"The faculty and staff did a marvelous job at baking and serving," stated Eure. "They really went above and beyond, and I could not have done this without them! I see it as a recurring event in future semesters. I really think the students enjoyed getting dressed up in their fine attire and being served by their professors as if they were at a five star restaurant, not to mention they were able to enjoy this without having to spend a penny! The evening could not have been better!"
