MCLAUGHLIN AND MINSHEW TO PREACH AT BCF

On Tuesday, September 2, Don McLaughlin, Pastor of Parkway Baptist Church in Tallahassee, FL, will be speaking in the R. G. Lee Chapel at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville beginning at 10 am.

McLaughlin is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and attended Criswell College and Trinity Theological Seminary. He has been the pastor of Parkway since 1998 and is currently leading the church in a relocation/re-launch process. McLaughlin is involved in various missions and church planting projects, leading teams to West Virginia and working with cross-cultural ministries in the Tallahassee area including the Tallahassee Chinese Christian Church and Tallahassee's first Hispanic congregation, Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana Tallahassee.

McLaughlin is an active member of the Credentials Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention as well as various committees in the Florida Baptist Convention. He and his wife, Kathryn, have two daughters, Haley, 22, and Heather, 21.

On Wednesday, September 3, Donald Minshew, Pastor of Wellborn Baptist Church in Wellborn, FL, will be speaking in Chapel. A native of Macon, GA, Minshew holds a Bachelor of English from Memphis State University, and a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Missiology from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.

Minshew has been the pastor of Wellborn Baptist Church since 2005, previously serving churches in Tennessee, Georgia, and Mississippi. Minshew was an international representative for the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention in Portugal, Angola, Kenya, and Nambia. Minshew and his wife, Carol, have a nine-year-old son named Dennis.
