Numerous times throughout the semester, students at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville line up at the Blood Drive RV to donate blood. Friday, August 29, was another one of those days and over 25 students came and gave.

"This was my first time giving blood," stated Ryan Nicholas, BCF sophomore. "Giving blood was an opportunity for me to serve others and help meet their needs. Plus, I enjoyed receiving a free t-shirt!"

Tripp Battle, BCF Activities Director and event planner, couldn't have been more pleased with the turn out. "BCF students are amazing," Battle commented. "They make it a priority to stop by and give blood in the midst of their busy schedules."

According to BCF Marketing Director Sandra Richards, BCF students have always responded enthusiastically to blood drives and disaster relief efforts. "Our students and faculty live out their faith and exemplify a true servant's heart," stated Richards.

Battle will be scheduling another opportunity to give blood towards the end of the semester.
